Cant use ie8 browser since update 2.2.1

Ive been using utorrent for over 5 years, however since the last update to 2.2.1 i can no longer browse the internet, gaming works etc. but browser freezes. Cant surf at all!! As for my uTorrent, im used to my 1.5 MBs on my 20 meg speed. now its snails pace even when connected to 100,s seeds. Ive tweeked turned off DHT followed links, to no avail. I dont really want to downgrade.. But somthing isnt right since 2.2. Am I the only one getting this.

This only started happening about 2 weeks ago.

I tried searching forums, but theres no search bar, and ive misplaced my reading glasses..... Im gonna stop there..... Im sounding like a grandad
