ggeckko Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 I am upgrading to Windows 7, but don't want to loose all of the .torrents that I am uploading and/or downloading. I have moved all of my personal files off the hard drive to an external drive and am preparing to "wipe" the HD prior to the 7 installation. After the upgrade and i download uTorrent again, how do I associate all of my current .torrent files with utorrent? I know there must be a (hopefully) simple task to accomplish this. HELP!
moogly Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Don't forget to save the folder %appdata%\utorrent.Just right click on a .torrent file and select "open with..." then select utorrent.exe with Windows Explorer.
ggeckko Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Posted March 28, 2011 Thanks, but not the answer I am looking for. I have downloaded videos from different sites that have been seeding. I would like to reassociate these downloaded files with the uTorrent application so they can resume seeding.
