Help setting directories of torrents

I've seen other post closely related to this but still no luck.

I got a "former volume not mounted" error and now all of my torrents are disabled. I attempted changing the letter of the drive under mu torrent's directories to the same as what my external hard drive is...no luck. Now I've got 400+ torrents that I would like to get back uploading, what is the quickest way of doing this. I've done each individually before and seems ridiculous that there is no other path to be taken. all help and suggestions are greatly appreciated

The preferences value isn't retroactive to already loaded torrents.

You either change your drive letter for your drive back to what it was in disk management, or you use the set download location on the right-click menu of your torrents to tell uTorrent of the change.
