Problem: New files added to queue without my putting them there.

I found 5 new files in my queue today. They were automatically put there. They were files I never searched, viewed, etc. They just popped in the queue and started working. No one else has been near the unit.

Is this a virus or something? Did someone get into my notebook?

Thanks for your help.

I don't know if RSS is enabled, but I know I haven't changed any settings and It never happened before today. It only started within the past hour, but not all day before that. I just looked and there some new ones in there again.

I can't find any place that RSS settings appear. Where would I check?

I am experiencing the same problem!

Just noticed it this morning, a whole heap of big big files added to my queue. No idea where they've come from?

As an ex PC user (not had my mac long) my first suspicion was that somebody was accessing my machine remotely? Surely not?

Also strangely noted that the unwelcome files are not being downloaded to the default folder? Where else could they be going? A spotlight search turns up with no results!?!

Hoping this is just some strange RSS feed issue as described above but i cannot find the settings anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

AHA!

I have discovered the problem.

Turns out that one of the torrent files i had chosen to download contained a load of torrent files within it. Not come across that before but just goes to show that you should always check the contents of a torrent before downloading :)
