ViolaMB Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 hello. all of a sudden 3 days ago my uTorrent started uploading very slow, from 20kb/s to 80kb/s, so i did the Setup Guide in uTorrent and apparently there's a problem. this is from 5 minutes ago:http://oi55.tinypic.com/5voo5l.jpgalso from 5 minutes ago this from Speedtest:http://oi53.tinypic.com/zl35s.jpgso the problem isn't with my Internet right? there's a problem with uTorrent right? there's nothing wrong with downloading because it downloads with maximum speed al the time -> 2.2MB/s. the problem is only with uploading...at the moment it's uploading only 40kb/s for about 3 hours now, but there are over 100 leechers so it should be uploading like crazy:rolleyes:i have uTorrent in the EXCEPTIONS in Windows Firewall. do i have to change some things/numbers in the uTorrent PREFERENCES -> CONNECTION, BANDWIDTH, BITTORRENT, ADVANCED, something else? i don't know much about uTorrent PORTS, any help would be great...:/
ViolaMB Posted March 30, 2011 Author Report Posted March 30, 2011 bump, please guys a little help? :/ my modem is a ISKRATEL Prospero632 IAD. i access it by going to http://192.168.1.1/ , then i have this:http://oi54.tinypic.com/2w57gj8.jpgso what exactly do i have to do now so the upload in uTorrent goes back to normal? i have to forward/open a specific port right? which one? where can i find it?
WLS Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Port configuration under setup. Forward the same port that you have set in uTorrent.
sanchi Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 I didn't want to open new thread, because my I have a similar problem, except my upload/download speeds are fine most of the time, but uTorrent shows the same Port is not open(you are still able to download) message. I am using uTorrent 2.0.4.I have a cable modem, and no setup, according to information I have, my ISP allows all ports.I have a firewall, but even when I disabled it (Windows XP Firewall is also disabled), I still get the same message.I found the online service for checking open ports on http://www.canyouseeme.org/, and it shows my uTorrent configured port is open. Private tracker I'm using also shows I am connectible.I wanted to upload some new torrents, but I'm worried will I be able to seed them?
DreadWingKnight Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 I am using uTorrent 2.0.4.We don't support this.
sanchi Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 Nevermind, I checked it again, and now it's fine.
