Utorrent removed all files in my secondary drive

Basics first:

PC

Windows Vista 64bit Home Premium

Utorrent Version 2.2.1 updated in the last 2 weeks

I created a new torrent for uploading purposes. It was working fine without any issues for a week. Then it had a red X next to it. I tried to fix it, but it wouldn't work. Nothing was wrong with anything on my computer at this point until I forced the upload to re-check itself. It went back into download and at this point I had the following issue.

My 2nd HDD (Sata) has been wiped completely clean of all files (some irreplaceable) except the download. I have found the .torrents for some of the original files, but only some of the original files can be located and will not open. They show the correct path of where they WERE, but the file location cannot be found, and they will not open in anything. The HDD shows full capacity of space.

I have tried removing the download (formerly upload), restarting, checking my boot menu, and trying to locate the files. I'm not sure how to fix this or what to even look for. Please HELP.
