Simpuhl Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 I have about 10 computers connected to my network via wifi or cat5 cables. There is a specific computer where, if he runs uTorrent it will automatically cause my router to restart. Which basically kicks everyone off the internet. If he keeps uTorrent open it will kick us every 10 seconds after it restarts. If he closes it, everything is fine.... I made sure we are all using different ports, I also changed his current ports and all the port forwards are setup correctly. I notice his computer is the only one who puts Teredo in the router port forward as well. Anybody have any idea what might be causing it?
Simpuhl Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Someone please, I have been trying to troubleshoot this for days, and finally figured out what the issue was. I am dieing to resolve this. We are using Verizon Fios.
DreadWingKnight Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Is Stateful Packet Inspection (the firewall) enabled on it?
Simpuhl Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Where do I find that? I clicked Firewall but its set to "LOW".Can't find a settings for "Stateful Packet Inspection" anywhere... tried google also.
Firon Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Reduce the number of connections in your client and try disabling any and all firewall settings on the router.
