brunoais Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 I have the apache service installed in my computer, After having problems (continue reading to see the problem) and analyzing the apache logs I noticed that utorrent is overloading apache by sending lots and lots of GET requests to apache making it consume 100% of CPU.Is there a way to force utorrent not to make requests to apache? Apache is listening to the ports: 80, 443, 8080.I'm using utorrent version 2.2.1. Extra: here is a sample of what utorrent is sending to apache. It's about 14 of these for each second.127.0.0.1 - - [05/Apr/2011:22:42:37 +0100] "GET /announce?info_hash=%7f%22T%fb%fc.%b69%f0%ef_n5%df%1c%c0%0aQ%c8%0b&peer_id=-UT2210-%2ab%8bI%dd%ff%c24%09%fc1%21&port=45916&uploaded=229376&downloaded=0&left=0&corrupt=0&key=82F21B6F&event=started&numwant=200&compact=1&no_peer_id=1 HTTP/1.1" 404 1145 "-" "uTorrent/2210(25130)"127.0.0.1 - - [05/Apr/2011:22:42:39 +0100] "GET /announce?info_hash=%8cp%e4E%fd%ff%e4N%9e%b8%bbpn%88%ca%28Fu~t&peer_id=-UT2210-%2ab%8bI%dd%ff%c24%09%fc1%21&port=45916&uploaded=0&downloaded=0&left=139080958&corrupt=0&key=82F21B6F&event=started&numwant=200&compact=1&no_peer_id=1 HTTP/1.1" 404 1145 "-" "uTorrent/2210(25130)"
