nibal Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 Hi,Problem replicated with both uTorrent 2.0.4 and 2.2.0. I set upload rate limits from either the status bar or the preferences menu, at 50 KBs, and it it is pinned to 90 KBs. From Preferences->Bandwidth:Alternate upload rate when not downloading: DisabledApply rate limit to transport overhead: DisabledApply rate limit to uTP connections: DisabledGlobal maximum number of connections: 1000Maximum number of connected peers per torrent: 50Number of upload slots per torrent: 2Use additional upload slots if upload speed < 90% EnabledIt used to work fine, but now I don't know what's wrong. It eats all my bandwidth and cannot work. Incidentally, what is limits to transport overhead and uTP connections? I couldn't find anything in the help files. Transport overhead limits do not seem to affect anything, while uTP rate limits are an overkill. They will lower upload rate to 20 KBs, despite my global rate limit of 50 KBs.Any ideas?
DreadWingKnight Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Apply rate limit to uTP connections: DisabledYou have this disabled and are wondering why limits aren't being honored?
Froznic Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Apply rate limit to uTP connections: DisabledYou have this disabled and are wondering why limits aren't being honored? Thanks for posting this stuff, helped me realize a dumb error on my part in trying to figure out why my rate limits weren't working. I must must have turned something off trying to fix a different issue.
