I Think I messed up - Please help!

I think I messed up and I'm not sure how to fix it.

First of all, I'm no computer expert at all- I can barely fumble my way around a computer. I heard about uTorrent and downloaded it and, after a bunch of bumbling around, I actually managed to figure out how to find files I wanted and to get uTorrent to download them. Everything was going well until I started moving files I had downloaded from my "downloads folder" into other folders, where I thought they should live. I started noticing that my download speeds started decreasing and then, when I would add another file for download, I started seeing that I was "queued" and the downloads never start!

This morning I finally stumbled across the "message log," when I was trying to figure out why things weren't working like they had been, and I noticed a bunch of stuff in there like "banned from..." and "failed hascheck..." etc. And I noticed that all the "failed hascheck..." messages related to the files I moved to a different folder, from the "downloads: folder that uTorrent deposits the downloaded files into.

It doesn't take rocket scientist to figure out that I must have done something wrong by moving the files and that it has to have something to do with my getting all these "banned" notices. I DID NOT mean to do something wrong- I just didn't know it was wrong! Can someone please tell me how to fix this and what the etiquette is and what I need to do/not do to keep from getting into this situation? Is there a way to get "unbanned?"

I want to put a lot of the files that I download into storage so that they don't take up so much room on my hard drive on my computer. If I put them on a network storage drive, is it possible to allow uTorrent to access them for uploading and "seeding" - whatever that is?

Thanks to everyone that replies and tries to help!!

Ok, first up, the logger tab isn't telling you that the other peer is banning you for the failed hash check. It's telling you that the other peer is GETTING BANNED by you for sending bad data.

Second, moving files without telling uTorrent that you've moved them will break ANY activity relating to those files within uTorrent.

Third, network attached storage has problems that are beyond uTorrent's ability to fix or work around, and as such, using them isn't recommended.
