youngnfurious Posted April 16, 2011 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 Law passed down in New Zealand April 15th 2011 "Copyright (Infringing File Sharing) Amendment Bill" will give you a 3 strike warning - 1: - detection, 2: - warning and 3: - enforcement. If detected the copyright holder will inform your ISP, notice will be issued then you will be taken to the district court. Your rights....to challenge the copyright holder at the Copyright Tribunal. If you do not seek challenge, then you are found GUILTY by the copyright holder, which he/she may seek up to $15,000 compensation or seek an order to suspend your internet for up to 6 months.
