manutau Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Hello,Running hundreds of torrents, my PC crashed for unknown reasons. After the reboot, utorrent runs fine and with the same settings but shows 0 torrent. What should I do to try to find the torrents I was running back? Thanks by advance,M
keniffca Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 open utorrent-->options-->preferences-->directorieshopefully you didnt delet the .torrent file (the file you get 1st that starts the download)simply go to the directory the .torrents saved in and click them.FYI .torrent files are generally smaller than 1mb (example:20kb)
moogly Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 resume.dat (in folder %appdata%\utorrent) has been surely corrupt after the computer crash. If renaming resume.dat.bad into resume.dat (back up these files before testing the workaround) and starting µT doesn't fix the issue, you need to use the migration guide (and read the step about autoloading): http://user.utorrent.com/help/guides/migrate
manutau Posted April 26, 2011 Author Report Posted April 26, 2011 Thanks.I have all my torrent files properly stored, so it's only a matter of time to start all torrents one by one, so I'll look at the migration topic asap.resume.dat was probably corrupt and I am now in the process of reorganizing torrents and ordering my files.
