utorrent version 2.2.1

I see, (in Logging) messages that says " Banning Peer: too many pex messages."

I found https://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=97670 while searching for answers.

If you seen how many peers/seeds utorrent was banning on me you'd look for answers to.

The question I have for the community is can I increase the amount of PEX messages allowed?

As seen in the log I pasted its not limited to any specific version weather utorrent,Azureus,etc.

It currently bans after 5 examples:

cleared ban list and log waited a couple mins and this is what i get in 1 minute

so back to my original question can I somehow increase the max pex allowed?anyone?

In the most recent builds we increased the timeout to 60 seconds. It seems like the cut-off in your build is 30 seconds.

I believe the underlying reason for this is caused by rate limits though, since that potentially "bunches" messages together. Are you using a very low download rate limit?

I use the settings.dat file for 1m upload found in this link with exceptions:

net.max_halfopen *50(I set xp to 100) bt.transp_disposition *245

options-->preferences-->bandwidth

Maximum upload rate 0 aka unlimited

Maximum download rate 0 aka unlimited

Can I change the timeout in options-->preferences-->advanced?

Ill come back daily
