lje
I just installed btGuard and the auto install function I used installed an older version of utorrent, which would not allow me to check for updates for some reason -- but I already have the latest version of utorrent installed that I would prefer to use (have all the downloads that I would like to continue seeding). Can I delete the version that btguard downloaded with my install and use my previous version of utorrent? Will my previous version be protected by btguard? Thanks for your help. moogly
I don't know how BTGuard works, but to update µT, you just need to replace the old utorrent.exe by the new one.Did you ask their support boards? (maybe they can answer you)
lje
Thanks moogley! I have asked btguard also. As far as updating utorrent, you said I must replace the .exe. Can't i just do this by checking for updates? That's how my previous verson has remained up to date. But for some reason, the v that was installed by btguard will not allow me to check for updates...says it cannot connect to the server. Thanks again!
