Download finished but unfinished files remain

Hi,

I am using the latest version of uTorrent. I usually download content that consists of many RAR files. When uTorrent displays its bubble notifier (Download finished - and the files do show 100%), and I try to extract the files, I often find unfinished files (they have .ut! appended to their names). I have to recheck them and THEN uTorrent "realizes" that they are downloaded around 99%. What is causing this? What should I do?

Maybe a software modifies the files when the torrent becomes complete. That's why you need to force a recheck and µT reaches 98 or 99% (the torrent hash has changed).
