Mike Frankum
I'm really sorry for asking this stupid question, but I have been using the system for just over a week now, and have been able to download some remarkable stuff - thank you - I just don't know the etiquette of how long I should keep the stuff available for others to share. I have very limited storage at present, and can't keep everything indefinitely. Obviously I will invest in more storage when possible. Also, is there an absolute beginners guide for the interpretation of terms such as seeds and peers. I realise that this must appear really dumb to all those of you who are totally in the know, but I don't know what the figures in brackets mean, other than guessing that these are the ones on line at present. Please be kind! There are many other things I don't understand yet, but I hope to learn.
Mike Frankum
OK, I see it was a little TOO basic a question to ask. I'll just muddle on as best I can. Best wishes everyone.
DreadWingKnight
One of the first lessons most people need to learn when dealing with torrents is PATIENCE.Additionally, searching for "etiquette" would have found you many a previous thread on your question.
