cyl3erunion
In the new version, to "set download location" does not work, or it only knows how to overwrite files now, as it prompts for permission to overwrite the complete files, which of course is rejected. Because when I "open containing folder", it does not return the download location I set previously. I've done this before, and know about how uT has to detect that the previous download location was missing the files in the torrent, before "set download location" functions properly.Upon rejecting the prompt, the torrent will create a new folder and the files. So, instead of setting "C:\download\" as the location of the files (in "download" folder), it creates "C:\download\download\". The only way to go around this problem is to change the full path of the files, from "video1.mkv" to "C:\download\video1.mkv".In my situation, I have (1) moved the folder from the designated download drive, (2) renamed the folder from the torrent-given name, (3) (or have not) renamed the file.Previously, after setting download location and relocating the file, the full path will not appear, but only the file name will change: "video1.mkv" to "video1[EE5E4567].mkv", instead of "C:\download\video1[EE5E4567].mkv", which of course also indicates the set download location is not working as it should. rd
I have the same problem on 2.2.1. I move the file using the command prompt to \foo, and try to set the new location advanced->set download location. uTorrent creates a directory called \foo\torrent-name and expects the file to be in there.
