zizinio
First I would like to apologize, I realise that I am not the first guy who starts this kind of topic but I've read many topics and I still haven't found the answer that I am looking for.My problem is this: my motherboard stopped working so I had to buy a new one and replace it and I couldn't make a back up for uTorrent. I installed W7 again and after i finished all installs and updates I started working on uTorrent. The thing is I had over 1500 torrents seeding and now I have none. In my user/app/roaming/utorrent I have 1751 torrents. Those are the torrents that I was seeding? Migrating 1751 torrents in grups by groups of 25 seems a suicide mission specially if you take the fact that not all my downloads are in the same location so I would have to find my files in over 2000 folders. I've read FQ and Migration topic, still I havent found nothing there that could really help me. I can't believe that uTorrent doesn't have a file in wich stores the paths for the dowloaded torrents wich you could just copy in the new utorrent folder and after a check, to start seeding your old torrents. Last time I installed OS I remember i did something like this but I don't remember how I did it.So, I am asking for your help. There is actually no faster way to re-seed your torrents, just the migration by 25? If there isn't, I'll burn my pc and move in Alaska!Sorry for my bad english and thank you in advance. DreadWingKnight
I can't believe that uTorrent doesn't have a file in wich stores the paths for the dowloaded torrents wich you could just copy in the new utorrent folder and after a check, to start seeding your old torrents. It does (resume.dat), but if you haven't saved it or the paths have changed in any way, it won't work cleanly. You can use the autoload method from the migration guide to add torrents in large batches provided all the ones in the batch have the downloaded files in the same location. zizinio
Thx for the reply. No paths are changed but like I said, even if utorrent can load multiple torrents i still have to sort 1500 torrents to see where eachone goes because i haven't downloaded in only one folder. Please answer to the question about the 1751 torrents in my user/app/roaming/utorrent, were they all seeding? Those are the ones that i have to launch again for re-check?LE: I also have the resume.dat and the others files, I forgot to mention. No files were lost or modified just new OS. W7 saves all the data before installing the new OS.
