heero3
Hello all, I've just changed from a D-Link ADSL router to a Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Home Gateway. I've properly port forwarded utorrent and done setting up a static ip on my computer, but i noticed that I'm not getting the same speed as i used to when on the D-Link. My question is, does setting the wireless 'on' on my Linksys slows down my internet connections? I've turned off every single Wi-Fi device in my house but still the speeds are not improving? since its my first time posting here, if any other info in needed pls let me know and I'll post it up here asap. heero3
I've switched from the windows 7 sp1 firewall to comodo firewall and utorrent is on the allowed programs list. I've turned off my wireless just to test it out and it seems the speed has improved. probably i'll turn it on and leave it through the night to see whether it affects the speed or not. Thanks for the quick reply dreadwingknight.
