To me, 1.1.2 was the best, it was very fast in terms of downloading, and for me to stay "connected" to the Internet.

Using 1.1.3 and .4 would slow my internet down to its knees, and often random disconnects.

There are similar problems posted here, though there aren't really any answer for those problems.

So, I'll list the problems I experience:

- Torrents can go super slow, where as other have said it should be super fast (we're talking about 5kB - 15 kB/sec, where others can get it for a good 200kB/sec)

- Internet can crawl, or sometimes randomly disconnected, resulting me having to re-start my modem.

I have yet to see it running with 1.1.5 but so far, it's slow... really slow (bout the speed I mentioned).

My internet setup is as follow

Wall >> Modem (it's a modem router) >> Router (through the ports, not WAN) >> Computers. I set it up that way because I'd have double NAT problems or what not (or at least my friend told me to set it up that way, because the other way wouldn't work).

ports are forward (I use 6881), on both modem and router. There's a firewall present in mysystem, but that's just WinXP's

I'm connected through a 8Mbps residential DSL.

Any help is greatly appriciated,

1) Use 1.1.5

2) Use a different port. Something between 20000 and 60000 would be good.

3) Turn on low cpu mode and slower connecting in the advanced options

4) Set your global maximum upload speed to about 80% of your connection's maximum upload speed

The speed you get depends alot on the current seeder/leecher ratio and the speed of those who seeds. Regarding the disconnection issues, I'm guessing they are caused by the TCP/IP incomplete connections limit in Windows XP SP2 so you could try checking the option "Connect to peers slower" in Preferences > Advanced and see if that solves it.

Edit: vurlix was too fast.
