Utorrent Doesnt Open Newly Downloaded Torrents

hi,been using utorrent for like 2 days now,everything works perfectly til now

The window that prompts you to open newly downloaded torrents in utorrent closes instantly,and i now have to manually open the new torrents to start downloading. any help would be much appreciated.

Set your web browser, it's not a window from µT. Be sure in your browser the .torrent files are associated to utorrent.exe.

been trying to find that option to associate .torrent files with my browser,but without luck.my browser is firefox,latest ver. i gez. . .can you help me how to do that in more details pls?
