Nepturion Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Been using uTorrent for a long time and never done like this before. When i download torrents from a public tracker like TPB and i activate DHT function, my internet connection suddenly malfunctions... In order to download and use the internet again i need to Exit uTorrent, Troubleshooting the connection and reset my Wireless Card through Windows. Can you help me figure this out?:/I have used 3 different computers with Windows 7 Ultimate, Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium. All computers are up-to-date, got no virus what-so-ever and there is no problem with my ISP or Router.*When troubleshooting it says the connection between my Computer and Router is lost - then after a fix then its solved. (If i have uTorrent open it wont fix at all, only work if uTorrent is closed)*When troubleshooting it says that i need to reset my wireless card - then when finished it says solved.Could this be the problem??[2011-05-27 20:11:58] IPv6 is installed[2011-05-27 20:11:58] Got Teredo Address: 2001:0:4137:9e76:3c45:3f91:af34:7a18[2011-05-27 20:12:03] UPnP: No cached host. DreadWingKnight Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Does it only crash the internet connection for one computer or for all the computers connected through the router?
Nepturion Posted May 27, 2011 Author Report Posted May 27, 2011 It crashes all my computers, i dont get any warning from the Wireless Adapter that there is a malfunction with the internet connection. After 10 minutes it tells me that there is no connection and needs to be fixed.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Have you tried other routers? What security settings do you have turned on in your current one?
Nepturion Posted May 27, 2011 Author Report Posted May 27, 2011 Yes have had 2 new routers from my previous ISP then i changed to a new one, which is my current router. I have had the similar problem on Speedtouch 780 WLT and my most recent one ZyXEL P2602HWT. I have always portforwarded and disabled the firewall inside the routers and im connectable. When im using Private Trackers with no DHT function i have NO problem using the internet for days. But could it be the settings inside uTorrent like when you set your bandwith to Germany (or another country server) to get the most accurate connection?Your system: Windows 7 version 6.1Java version: 1.6.0_25 (x86)TCP receive window: 261360 current, 261360 maximum2.60824E-4 packets lost during testRound trip time: 38 msec (minimum), 479 msec (maximum), 376.08 msec (average)Jitter: 441 msec0 seconds spend waiting following a timeoutTCP time-out counter: 453179 selective acknowledgement packets receivedNo duplex mismatch condition was detected. The test did not detect a cable fault. No network congestion was detected. No network addess translation appliance was detected.0.3066% of the time was not spent in a receiver limited or sender limited state.68.28% of the time the connection is limited by the client machine's receive buffer.Optimal receive buffer: 267632640 bytesBottleneck link: Cable/DSL modem0 duplicate ACKs sethttp://npad.iupui.mlab3.ham01.measurement-lab.org:8000/ServerData/Reports-2011-05/231.80-203-133.nextgentel.com:2011-05-27-20:24:37.html
