masoyama
I've been using UT for many years without any problem, a few days back there was this torrent that reloaded every time I turned the computer off and on again. Now the program is completely effed... New torrents I download, dont get saved. Old torrents keep reappearing, and every time I restart it checks every single torrent. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, checked permissions on resume.dat, made the antivirus and firewall exceptions, deleted the Appdata\Utorrent folder, uninstalled everything and begun again. The problem persists, anyone has any idea what to do next? Thank you.
masoyama
Just opened resume.dat with BEncode Editor and realized that after removing everything from my computer this file still gets loaded excactly the same. Where is this info getting stored apart from Appdata/Utrorent and how do I flush it to start "from scratch"
moogly
Because µT is not able to write the file resume.dat so when you remove some torrent jobs and you quit µT, at the next start, the removed torrent jobs are still here because rsume.dat hasn't been written.Check the read/write premissions for this file and for the folder %appdata%\utorrent. masoyama
Im having this exact same problem again. The last time I had to install Windows again, and will not do it again just for Utorrent. Checked the permission and everything has full read/write permissions. Any other suggestion?
