archertsax
I have installed uTorrent successfully, restarted my machine, the whole nine yards, and yet still nothing is working. At first every torrent I found registered as a pdf for some reason (my machine didn't recognize torrents I guess) so I changed that using properties. Basically whenever I find a torrent I get to uTorrent's "Save As" page, everything appears to be in order, click "OK", and this is what I get: "Unable to save .torrent to 'C:\...............etc.'" ......That's it. It doesn't give me a reason, no error type or whatever, just flat out says unable to do it...help please!..........

moogly
The issue is µT doesn't have the permission to save the .torrents into %programfiles%\uTorrent, it's a protected folder. Set another folder as .torrent storage folder, or delete settings.dat to reset your settings.
archertsax
The problem was solved simply by running it as administrator, then unblocking it from my firewall. I don;t know why my machine didn't tell me in the first place that it was being blocked by firewall.....oh well..that's machines...
