Can't make uT default handler for .torrent files opened in Firefox

Every time I click a link to a torrent file on a website, I get this:

I have set uT as the default app to open torrents I've already downloaded to my harddrive, and that works fine. But I canNOT convince it to open torrent links in Firefox. I am running the latest version of everything, winxp pro, and yes, I have set uT to be default handler in the preferences. I still get the same error message.

I just installed it today, set it as default, then uninstalled bittornado, which had previous worked as the default handler. Now, nada. I've tried restarting the prog and everything. I search the FAQ and forums and couldn't find anything about this.

ETA:

I went into Firefox's prefs to set uT as the default for torrent, and even when I selected the application it said "None Selected." So...still same problem.

Did you try removing the handler information in the firefox preferences and letting it recreate automatically?

I just tried that a moment ago, and finally got it to work...thanks anyway! When in doubt, delete everything and start over...
