19-10-2011 NEW: Update v1.10!

For this iPad WebUI you need to download and setup the uTorrent WebUI which can be found here.

http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58156

The iPad WebUI has been created and tested with uTorrent WebUI v0.382.

After downloading and setting up the uTorrent WebUI follow the following instructions:

Clean Install:

- Download the latest version of the iPad WebUI.

http://www.4shared.com/rar/jjeHG2Vq/ipadwebui_v110.html

- Go to the folder where the uTorrent WebUI is located. On Windows Vista and Windows 7 this is:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent

- Add the ipadwebui folder in the downloaded rar-file to the webui.zip file.

iOS4 (skip if you have iOS5):

The following is a trick that makes you not have to enter your login details every time you launch the Webui (Doesn't seem to work anymore on IOS5).

- Open Safari on your iPad and go to:

http://Username:Password@YourIP:UTport/gui/ipadwebui/index.html

Example: http://Frank:mypass@192.168.1.10:8080/gui/ipadwebui/index.html

- Safari will say "Waring: Possible phishing site". Just press "Ignore this Warning".

iOS5 (skip if you have iOS4):

- Open Safari on your iPad and go to:

http://YourIP:UTport/gui/ipadwebui/index.html

Example: http://192.168.1.10:8080/gui/ipadwebui/index.html

- When the page is loaded add it to the home screen.

- Now you can launch this WebUI like a native iOS application and it will be in full screen.

Install Update:

- Download the latest version of the iPad WebUI.

- Open the webui.zip file and delete the ipadwebui folder.

- Remove the iPad uTorrent WebUI Home Screen icon from your iPad.

- The iPad uTorrent WebUI is now updated.

Patch Notes:

v1.1 | 19-10-2011

- Added the ability to set labels.

- Fixed a bug which caused the Splash Screen and Home Screen icon not to load.

- Left menu only shows labels which have active torrents instead of all labels.

- Set ETA text to "Done" when download is finished.

- Fixed some minor CSS issues which caused the application not to display properly in IOS5 Safari.

Setting Labels

Labels can only be set to labels of active torrents and predefined labels. You can't set a custom label from the WebUI.

To set predefined labels open uTorrent and go to:

- Options -> Preferences -> Advanced -> UI Extras

- Under Persisten Labels [separate multiple labels with a | character] type the labels and seperate them with a "|":

Example: Movies|TV Shows|Games|Applications|Music|OS|Books

All Releases:

- 19-10-2011 v1.10 http://www.4shared.com/rar/jjeHG2Vq/ipadwebui_v110.html Latest

- 19-07-2011 v1.00 http://www.4shared.com/rar/krA1b40O/ipadwebui_v100.html

More features will be in following releases.

Well, I like the large icons and clean interface, but this is too simple. There is no remove button and no preferences. Preferences I don't change that often, but lack of a remove button means I have to use the other UI too. The "Linux" webui someone posted elsewhere is fully functional and looks great on my ipad so I guess I'll stick with that.
