WLS
Dunno, I got the same look using uTorrent 3.0 in Wine on openSUSE 11.3.Also, now uTorrent 2.2.1 just locks up the whole PC and I have to press the reset button to reboot. So I guess it is back to the Linux version. jjph
Same exact issue on CentOS 5.6 and wine (v 1.2.3)With the rather large group of people that use uTorrent via wine, one would think they would take that into account.Sticking with the last 2.0.4 build as usual. moogly
Be sure to use the latest dev version of Wine because there is a ton of fixes between the stable and dev versions.
WLS
Well, a new version of Wine was announced yesterday, waiting for it to show up in Software Management. Meanwhile I'm using 1.3.22-4.1.Oh joy, 1.3.23-1.1 just showed up. Will report back after I update.
WLS
Still the same after updating Wine to version 1.3.23-1.1.I suspect uT 2.2.1 is no longer supported, so I will use the Linux version instead.
jjph
Be sure to use the latest dev version of Wine because there is a ton of fixes between the stable and dev versions.Doesn't matter, using proper stable releases should not be a problem, things have been broken for quite some time. Even using bleeding edge wine version fixed none of the issues either in 2.2x or 3.0.
simonbcn
There is a bug reported to Wine: WineHQ Bugzilla – Bug 27579 – The appearance of uTorrent 3.0 torrents list is brokenThe problem is worst than only appearance problem. µTorrent hangs when I try to modify some preference or add/delete columns from torrent list. simonbcn
Bump! The problem is in wine not in µTorrent. If you want them to resolve this error, you vote in the open bug in WineHQ and make a comment about your environment and problems identified. dingmingyi
OKay. This problem is not in wine and uTorrent.wine run utorrent 3 have listview error.because torrent's list must use xml.so,you must install msxml 4 or later in winetricks. That's all. WLS
What is winetricks? Where do I find it? If I don't have it where do I get it?Same questions for msxml 4.Edited for additional comment.I looked into winetricks and msxml4 and decided to stick with the Linux version. So now I can uninstall Wine and the Windows version of uTorrent.
