marzipan13 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 I've followed any and all instructions that I've tracked down over the internet, but I'm still failing the network test in the setup guide. I'm using a Belkin Router and have gone into the settings where I was able to setup a virtual server to allow the utorrent port to my computer. I use Windows Firewall and AVG - both I put in exceptions to allow utorrent. I made sure that the connection settings in utorrent are correct.I don't understand what is happening and why I'm still failing this test?
Arwen.Undomiel Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 I am using a different router but the problem I had with port froward it was because my IP had changed. In port forward, choose a port like 51 000 up to 60 000 I guess AND check your IP and write it there. IP check: Control penal -> Network -> Network connection -> Local Aria Connection left click, click on Support and you can see Your IP Address. It must be the same as in port forward. I had to change it in my router sometimes...If you have the same problem most likely it is a NAT ( Network Address Translation) problem and you have to call your ISP. It is outside your reach, it is in ISP routers...When you get on the net they change your IP and there is the problem.
