curiositer Posted July 29, 2011 Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 So as many others, my computer crashes whenever Im drying to use uTorrent. I know that it is not uTorrent itself, but I know there are many helpful talented people in this forum who can help me in translating what I need to do to make it better.It has taken me months (!) to get this far (downloading a good programme that reads .dmp, without having to deal with the symbol-thingy, which only helped putting me in a bad place of pure panic [!&/#?"¤)`] ), so bare with me and be specific. So, here it is:DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at aninterrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usuallycaused by drivers using improper addresses.If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.Arguments:Arg1: 0000000000000028, memory referencedArg2: 0000000000000002, IRQLArg3: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operationArg4: fffff8800196bb2d, address which referenced memoryDebugging Details:------------------READ_ADDRESS: GetPointerFromAddress: unable to read from fffff800034bc100 0000000000000028 CURRENT_IRQL: 2FAULTING_IP: NETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+1dfffff880`0196bb2d 448b5228 mov r10d,dword ptr [rdx+28h]CUSTOMER_CRASH_COUNT: 1DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULTBUGCHECK_STR: 0xD1PROCESS_NAME: SystemTRAP_FRAME: fffff880035ca660 -- (.trap 0xfffff880035ca660)NOTE: The trap frame does not contain all registers.Some register values may be zeroed or incorrect.rax=fffff880035ca880 rbx=0000000000000000 rcx=0000000000000000rdx=0000000000000000 rsi=0000000000000000 rdi=0000000000000000rip=fffff8800196bb2d rsp=fffff880035ca7f0 rbp=fffff880035ca920 r8=00000000ffffffbc r9=0000000000000044 r10=0000000000000000r11=fffffa8009b4d2d0 r12=0000000000000000 r13=0000000000000000r14=0000000000000000 r15=0000000000000000iopl=0 nv up ei pl zr na po ncNETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+0x1d:fffff880`0196bb2d 448b5228 mov r10d,dword ptr [rdx+28h] ds:00000000`00000028=????????Resetting default scopeLAST_CONTROL_TRANSFER: from fffff8000328c2a9 to fffff8000328cd00STACK_TEXT: fffff880`035ca518 fffff800`0328c2a9 : 00000000`0000000a 00000000`00000028 00000000`00000002 00000000`00000000 : nt!KeBugCheckExfffff880`035ca520 fffff800`0328af20 : fffff880`042205c0 fffff880`01ac07a2 00000000`00000006 00000000`00000044 : nt!KiBugCheckDispatch+0x69fffff880`035ca660 fffff880`0196bb2d : fffffa80`09f4b8f0 00000000`00000062 00000000`0000000b fffffa80`047f3a58 : nt!KiPageFault+0x260fffff880`035ca7f0 fffff880`01aff66c : 00000000`00000000 fffff880`01ace2d6 00000000`00000001 fffff880`05aa4ea0 : NETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+0x1dfffff880`035ca850 fffff880`01acb8c3 : fffffa80`09b4d2d0 00000000`00000001 fffffa80`09f4b8f0 00000000`00000000 : tcpip! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+0x1d74ffffff880`035ca8c0 fffff880`01abe724 : fffff880`035cad78 00000000`00000029 fffffa80`09f4b8f0 fffff880`05aaf5d3 : tcpip!TcpTcbCarefulDatagram+0x543fffff880`035caa70 fffff880`01abd04a : fffffa80`06e78a80 fffff880`01ab5504 fffffa80`06e34790 00000000`00000000 : tcpip!TcpTcbReceive+0x694fffff880`035cac20 fffff880`01abec7b : fffff880`042a006c fffffa80`06f8f000 00000000`00000000 fffff880`035caf00 : tcpip!TcpMatchReceive+0x1fafffff880`035cad70 fffff880`01ab5b97 : fffffa80`06e78a80 fffffa80`06e76ce1 fffffa80`0000d587 00000000`0000d587 : tcpip!TcpPreValidatedReceive+0x36bfffff880`035cae40 fffff880`01ab570a : 00000000`00000000 fffff880`01bd1800 fffff880`035cb000 fffffa80`093c6010 : tcpip!IppDeliverListToProtocol+0x97fffff880`035caf00 fffff880`01ab4d09 : 00000000`00000000 fffffa80`093c3010 fffffa80`093a4260 fffff880`035caff0 : tcpip!IppProcessDeliverList+0x5afffff880`035cafa0 fffff880`01ab2a7f : fffff880`01bd1800 fffff880`042a005c fffff880`01bd1800 fffff880`01bd1800 : tcpip!IppReceiveHeaderBatch+0x23afffff880`035cb080 fffff880`01ab2072 : fffffa80`07a62160 00000000`00000000 fffffa80`07a60b00 fffffa80`00000001 : tcpip!IpFlcReceivePackets+0x64ffffff880`035cb280 fffff880`01b323da : 00000000`00000000 fffffa80`04155e20 fffffa80`07a60ba0 00000000`00000001 : tcpip!FlpReceiveNonPreValidatedNetBufferListChain+0x2b2fffff880`035cb360 fffff800`03299668 : fffffa80`0765c000 00000000`00000000 fffffa80`041aab60 00000000`00000001 : tcpip! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+0x568e2fffff880`035cb3b0 fffff880`01ab1bd2 : fffff880`01ab1430 fffffa80`09429080 fffff880`01bd6900 fffff880`01ab6e01 : nt!KeExpandKernelStackAndCalloutEx+0xd8fffff880`035cb490 fffff880`019260eb : fffffa80`07a5f8d0 00000000`00000000 fffffa80`076f71a0 00000000`00000000 : tcpip!FlReceiveNetBufferListChain+0xb2fffff880`035cb500 00000000`00000000 : 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 : ndis!ndisMIndicateNetBufferListsToOpen+0xdbSTACK_COMMAND: kbFOLLOWUP_IP: NETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+1dfffff880`0196bb2d 448b5228 mov r10d,dword ptr [rdx+28h]SYMBOL_STACK_INDEX: 3SYMBOL_NAME: NETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+1dFOLLOWUP_NAME: MachineOwnerMODULE_NAME: NETIOIMAGE_NAME: NETIO.SYSDEBUG_FLR_IMAGE_TIMESTAMP: 4ce79381FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: X64_0xD1_NETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+1dBUCKET_ID: X64_0xD1_NETIO!RtlCopyBufferToMdl+1dFollowup: MachineOwnerThank you on beforehand, whoever decides to gove me a helping hand - you are very much appreciated!! curiositer Posted July 29, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 I should also add, that I have read the sticky post about crashes; so I've tried that Nvidia firewall-thing, and turning off my McAfee firewall, and, of course, thuroughly searched my computer for viruses and nasty bugs and malware, and so far - nothing. curiositer Posted July 29, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 However, reading the text again, I might have misunderstood it."The next leading cause is the NVIDIA Firewall. This is a bug with the NVIDIA firewall on multi-core systems. To fix it, either uninstall the firewall (Forceware Network Manager in Add/Remove programs), or set µTorrent's affinity to a single core. If you don't know how, open the task manager, go to the processes list, right click the process, hit set affinity and make sure only one is checked. Doesn't matter which one you choose."What I did was to set "VNetManager.exe*32"s affinity to a single core.. I now tried to set uTorrent to single core, but I wasnt allowed to. DreadWingKnight Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 netio.sys being the source of the crash roughly translates out to either your network adapter drivers being broken or your internet security software being broken.It's that simple.
