ohcheap1 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Is there a way to stop uploading when it reaches 100%? Ive searched the preferences file and cant find anything that tells how to do this. Please, please, please help.
TuuS Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Any torrent client that allowed a user to do this would quickly be banned, and as a tracker admin myself, any user who does this WILL be permanently banned from my tracker. The behavior your seeking to do is hostile to p2p
ohcheap1 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Report Posted August 4, 2011 So in your world a seeder is committed to giving back more than they take? Does it get lonely there?
ouid Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 Did you mean stop uploading when download is complete or stop uploading when ratio reaches 1.0 i.e. 100%? In the latter you can try to set seeding goal in Preferences -> Queeing.
TuuS Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 So in your world a seeder is committed to giving back more than they take? Does it get lonely there? You didn't ask how to stop a task automatically when seeding goal is reached, you asked how to stop a task when download is finished. No client will make it easy to stop a task before it's fully seeded, but pretty much all of them will stop a task if it's been uploaded at or above target ratio.
