Is It Easy To Hack Someone Using Torrents On The Bittorrent Protocol?

There are certainly a lot of people world wide using torrents and uTorrent being the most popular client, yet I've never read anywhere about the safety of using uTorrent and how easy or difficult it might be for someone to hack you while using bittorrent and how easy it could be to gain access to the computer?

Is there any mention of this in the uTorrrent docs or faq or does anyone know any good reading that goes in depth on the subject that shows some of the technicalities of this and probabilities?
