UTorrent Won't Open Up From Internet Explorer and Firefox/Safari

I am in a hotel resort on vacation. I use UTorrent almost religiously with Internet Explorer. Came to this Resort and tried downloading a few Torrents here and there, but for some reason and I cannot figure it out, that everytime I click to open up or download a torrent, say from the Pirate Bay for example, it takes me to a page in Internet Explorer where it says, "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Page".

You would think it is a simple issue, however, with every other site as I am a Developer, there is no problem downloading, installing, and doing everything a Developer does through Internet Explorer and the other browsers.

It has to be somewhere in this hotel that for example won't let me open up Utorrent from wanting to download or even use a Magnet Link.

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you!

I don't know about IE (I hate it) but I use Firefox. When it encounters a new download, it usually goes by the extension whether to download it or open it. I select "open" (in this case) then it either asks for a program or opens it automatically with the default for that extension. Assuming you have the .torrent extension associated with µTorrent, it surprises me that IE won't do the same thing. Although I don't use IE, I know people who do and this is what normally happens.
