GaryB
Hi all. I'm new to this, and here. I hope you can help. Nearly every time I search for a torrent, when I click on DOWNLOAD I get directed to a Download Manager. Is there any way I can prevent this? It doesn't matter whether I'm searching from utorrent, or Google. Thanks in advance.ATB Gary.
DreadWingKnight
Sounds like your system has that download manager set as the default for torrents. You try finding it and uninstalling it?
GaryB
Thanks for your answer DreadWingKnight, but I don't think I explained properly.I only had Utorrent as a download manager to start with, but nearly every time I clicked the download button for a torrent I was re-directed to download a download manager. Eventually, I did download Ilivid. Even then I was still re-directed to a download manager. I have now uninstalled Ilivid.I reckon I'm doing something wrong. Is there any hope for me? If so, prey help.I hope this is a lot clearer.ATB Gary.
Firon
Have you tried re-associating µTorrent with torrent files? If you open the preferences (Ctrl+P) and hit the 'Associate with .torrent files' button, that might fix it for you.
