SSD EXCESSIVE WEAR -- diskio.no_zero still broke

FancyCache shows I downloaded a 5GB file and 10GB is being written to my SSD.

Really not good for an SSD's life at all.

Only way I can this to work right is enable volume maintenance policy

for my account and run utorrent as administrator which causes error messages

when starting a new torrent from browser and throws windows security out the window.

Windows7 x64 Ultimate & uT latest

diskio.no_zero only works if µTorrent is run as an administrator. There's nothing you can do to avoid that. It's an OS feature that requires you to be an admin.

But it's possible that UAC would make that fail anyway.

Well the part where it gives an error or a UAC prompt by simply

adding a torrent from the browser is the real inconvenience.

If you disabled UAC altogether you probably wouldn't have a problem.
