l2k
It sucks (for your ratio) when you upload a new torrent then the first person who snatches it uploads 5x faster and gets all the upload credit.Say you have 2 or more people leeching from you. Can you send them all the same data, rather than sending them different sections which they can send to each other?
GTHK
No. It's inefficient.
l2k
No. It's inefficient by some measurement (ie. time to spread files to everyone) but it's highly efficient by other measurements (ie. maximum amount of upload for initial seeder). DreadWingKnight
Nope, it's actually inefficient for the core measurements that make BitTornado better at the role. You don't get the reduced amount of upload needed for full distribution, you don't get the piece distribution spread AND you don't get the good speed. l2k
What are you arguing about?I do not care about your measures. I have my own measures:- maximize the time taken to seed the torrentCan uTorrent help me at all, or what?
DreadWingKnight
uTorrent's initial seed doesn't help with that even though it's supposed to.
