shwick
For example when the torrent has 50 seeds and 200 leechers uTorrent sometimes has greater upload speed than download speed.I have no problem sharing and seed up to 100% after I download but my bandwidth is limited. For example uploading 4 times the torrent size before a full download is a bit much for me.Is there a way to cap the speed of the upload so that it never exceeds the download speed?I know I can set the max upload speed to a certain number, that's not what I'm asking. DreadWingKnight
Swarm conditions cause this behavior. There's no way to cap the upload to prevent this.
shwick
Well technically you can implement this.I could implement this in an open source torrent client. If everyone used that feature it would cause problems though as new clients would be unable to download except from seeders.
