Mac-the-Knife
Unsure if this is the right place to post this, so please forgive me if it is not. I download from the Pirate Bay and prefer FXG files. For the last few days I have been unable to connect to any trackers pertaining to his/her torrents, but other torrents seem to work fine. Would appreciate any help anyone can give me as to a reason for this. I've hunted the forums both on here and the Pirate Bay but to no avail. Mac-the-Knife
These are the trackers, pretty sure something is wrong as went to Extra Torrent site and no seeds or leaches showing in the Bridesmaid file of FXG. It also appears that the number of seeds and leaches for him/her is going down. Mac-the-Knife
Thanks for your help, it was definitely a tracker problem as wasn't connecting to any trackers, even on torrents I had already downloaded. I did find a way around it by hunting for his/her torrents on another site called Torrentz, this site gave a list of all trackers related to the torrent in question, so I loaded all of these in uTorrent and it sprang into life. I did notice all of the trackers that had udp: at the beginning failed to connect, yet did connect from much the same source with an http: I'm sure I only ever used to get http so perhaps this is where the problem lay. I have put a list of the trackers below to show what I mean, just in case it's of any interest to you or anyone else. I have put what is working and not working for me, it may well be that you have to join certain forums for the others to work, but I don't wish to do that. Just one final thing, could you tell me if I should delete trackers from the torrent that aren't connecting, or if it would make any difference if I did this. Mac-the-Knife
True, the pirate bay tracker did close over a year ago, but I have been downloading fxg files up until approximately two weeks ago from the pirate bay site with no problems. The fact that none of them will download now, not even ones I had downloaded a couple of weeks ago, meant it had nothing to do with their tracker, but that all the other trackers loaded with the torrent had gone down and I didn't think that would be the case, it appears I was wrong. I only posted all the trackers that originally came up to update the earlier list of ones that wouldn't connect and the ones I added, this included the pirate bay, but I was aware the pirate bay got rid of their tracker a long while ago. The first list that I put in my post was typed as I didn't realise I could go into utorrent and copy and paste all the trackers as utorrent won't allow a copy and paste of data from the tracker section itself, would be nice if it did. Thanks again.
