antmanPL
Hey there!I'm trying to use uTorrent 3.0 (25683) [32-bit], but it gives me 100% cpu usage. It's all ok just after fresh install (or deleting settings from AppData), but when i load any torrent file and start downloading - 100% cpu usage again. When I'm trying to close uTorrent, it's still hanging on my process list in Task Manager. Still with 100% cpu usage. After like hour or two, uT is using above 150mb of memory. No matter is it closed, or not.I'm using a fresh (it has 2 days) install of Win 7 Ultimate x64 with SP1.No firewalls, no AVs, no antispywares or any other of these.Athlon 64 3700+, 4GB DDR, GeForce 7900GS.P.S. It's scarry how you bloatwared uTorrent. Streaming, Remote, DNA, Apps etc. Full of unnecessary things, You should rename it to megaTorrent ;]

antmanPL
Uhhh...You can now move this thread to thrash.I just simply stay using 2.2.1 cause it has got everything i need, it's clean, fast, light-weight and not-bloatwared by any of these weird so-called "features". It is not using 100% of my cpu (or even 10%) and 150mb of my ram.Cause of my problem is not my fresh installation of Win7, but your dirty uT3.0. Many people's got problems with new version, and it's not just a coincidence.I'm sorry for my mean words, but i truely believed that uT will stay a good, freeware utility. And obviously it won't.Thnx for trying to help. And i hope you'll understand your mistakes.
DreadWingKnight
I'm not convinced that what you're doing will actually solve the problem. All of this knee-jerk downgrading only serves to perpetuate the "bad code" and won't actually solve a damn thing. dzikimarian
Same problem here. It made my laptop fan gone crazy. As I see like guy above I'm on Win 7 x64.I have also downgraded to 2.2. It's not to be jerk - Sorry guys it's totally unusable at this moment.And... For the long time I was trying to convince myself that all that stuff comming with new versions is actually usable. Now when after a long time with 3.0 branch I see good old interface - I'm sure - it's not.Sorry again - I'm staying with 2.2 until 3.0 lite will be relased or there will be some new features that I actually need(taskbar integration for eg.). zaibatsu
Today I noticed the same problem. I have been using utorrent 3.0 a couple of month now, never had any problem. Today I started a new download, but after a few minutes, the download stalled, and i got the "Disk cache full" error down the notification bar. utorrent was using 50% CPU time on my E8400 processor. The utorrent process was hanging, so I had to close through task manager. After restart the whole problem just repeated itself again.I tried the newest 3.1 alpha, an oldest 3.0 x64 version, but the problem persisted. Version 2.2.1 worked just fine. Here i uploaded some reports using Listdlls and Process explorer:Listdlls - using command: listdlls -v utorrenthttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/30026120/listdlls_report_utorrent_dll.txtListdlls - using command: listdlls -vhttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/30026120/listdlls_report_all_dll.txtProcess explorer - uTorrent processhttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/30026120/process_explorer_uTorrent_dll.txtHope you can find something in there. By the way I'm using windows 7 x64. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!
