theindieartistdotcom
I'm using the program on the newest macbook pro. I created some new torrents, and it says they are seeding. I have trackers, and the trackers are in fact working. However, I still haven't uploaded a single bit of information, despite having leechers. Also, I tried to seed something I downloaded a while ago, and it immediately worked. I tried moving the trackers from that file over, and that did nothing. What is going on??Thank you for your help! DreadWingKnight
Your client firewalled? If so, you may need to wait up to 45 minutes to get an outbound connection to a peer that isn't or port forward the listen port on your client. theindieartistdotcom
No, I don't think so. My firewall is turned off. Also, it has been well over 45 minutes. But I do appreciate your advice, thank you.
DreadWingKnight
Double check using the setup guide (ctrl+g). Firewall being turned off isn't actually off (except for the windows built in one) so you're going to need to uninstall to be sure on that.Port forwarding is also needed. theindieartistdotcom
Darnit. I don't think the mac version has a setup guide. How do I port forward?

theindieartistdotcom
Oh, I should have mentioned earlier that I seeded something of mine only 24 hours beforehand. Do you think that might mean port forwarding isn't needed? I haven't touched my router.
DreadWingKnight
Honestly, unless your port was already forwarded, it is still needed.
