CuriousJay
This might be a ridiculous and/or paranoid question, but it's something I'm curious about: When a torrent is seeding and then stopped (the status changed to "Finished") what information, if any is communicated from uTorrent back to the greater internet and/or tracker? Is a "Finished" status effectively radio silence for that individual torrent? If not, what kind of information is going out from the client? Thanks! CuriousJay
At MOST scrape data to find seed/peer data.Nothing else.I had noticed that it seemed like old and "Finished" torrents would sometimes suddenly have updated numbers. So it seems like you might be onto something. Let's say that this is happening... does that information, if you're using a public tracker where curious eyes are watching, give anything away about you?
