Multiple utorrent.exe.xxx.tmp and notification area setup

Oh, hi there! Using 3.0 (25683) x32 on W7 SP1 x64 (oh, is there x64 app?). When i opened setup for notification area (where you can choose when to show icon in the tray slot), it showed me common listing, but there were also a lot of utorrent copies (utorrent.exe.12527.tmp etc). And it's adds new record every utorrent lauch. I afraid, after months of using this listing will become huge and hard to adjust. Is there a way to turn off this multiplication or clean up listing?

Okay, i had found way to delete icons via registry (http://www.ghacks.net/2010/02/09/remove-old-notification-icons-in-windows-7/). But i still wanna to stop this madness from the begining =)
