Just installed Avira and uTorrent won't download

Hello,

I just installed avira and uTorrent won't download.

DL speed is below 9Kb/s, nothing is written on the disk.

After deactivating Avira, download was back to normal for 10 minutes, but now I'm back to 9Kb/s

Any guess on how to setup Avira ?

Avira should not be interfearing with your torrents. You may need to contact their support to ask them this question. http://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest-mlab.php go here and check to see if you are throttled by your ISP.

are you using any other 3rd party firewall or software that might interfear? Have you changed any settings recently, run any programs that might interfear with your internet connection? Router changes? etc.

First of all, you must specify 3 things:

1. What edition of Avira did you installed? The explanation is because if you installed the suite version it comes with firewall (you may didn´t install this feature...but if yes, it will interfere - specify here if it´s activated or not)

2. The port you set on uTorrent settings is open in your router? (run the Setup Guide to ensure it´s open)

3. Are you using any other firewall program? (for example, Comodo, Windows Firewall, Outpost, etc)
