2Suave Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 I've been checking these forums for days and cant figure it out.I setup a static Ip on my system and forwarded two ports; random one for uTorrent and the given 1025 for btguard. I am using the newest version of uTorrent in 32-bit. I have windows 7 ultimate 64bit (pretty sure that isn't the problem) When running dynamic, i would get upwards of 2mb/s down. Now that I have changed to static i get about 300-400kb/s and uTorrent has an orange triangle stating no incoming connections. Network test fails in setup guide. Nat-PMP and UPnP are disabled. PFPortchecker tells me ports are forwarded correctly! I don't know what's going on. I also get proxy connect error. I use avg antivirus and Windows firewall. utorrent is allowed through both....Please respond with ideas as seems fit. Thank you all in advance.
BTGuard Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 With btguard enabled you will see no incoming connections. This is how you are traced. For the speed issue try running it with and without encryption we provide. It can make a speed difference.
2Suave Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Posted December 2, 2011 Which encryption is safe to disable? I'm not sure I see where exactly to disable btguard encryption. Do you mean the proxy privacy features? Or using proxy for hostname lookups and p2p connections?
