alza Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Hello, I recently upgraded my internet to a 100mbit (download) and 2mbit (upload) cable / fibre connection on Telstra's Bigpond Service (Australia).I just downloaded the latest uTorrent version after not having it installed for several months, because of a PC reformat and I never got round to getting it again, but now I want to put my new internet speeds to use.I used to be on a 30mbit (download) and 1mbit (upload) cable/fibre connection and could achieve 4MB/s download speeds on torrents even if they weren't so popular torrents (not a lot of seeds/peers).Unfortunately, now even when i put an EXTREMELY popular torrent to download, I can barely achieve 100KB/s download. What is wrong? When I tried the uTorrent Setup-Guide to get me the best speeds, it doesn't work (I choose Sydney, Australia) It give me the following error: I have no idea what to do. My OS is Windows Vista 32bit and I am using Norton 360, but have 'allowed' uTorrent in Program Rules. How can I get speed test to work, open my port, and achieve the best possible results? Any help will be appreciated! If you cant answer here for any reason at all you can email me directly at gamer6991@gmail.comThanks in Advance!
