cbj002 Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 I've beeb using Mytoorent for a few years now and have never had any problems. But recently i upgraded to 3.0 and experienced slow uploads, but ok downloads. When performimg the Setup test I got the "Port is not open (you are still able to download )" report.I sorted this out by following the advice posted on this forum and set up a static IP, disabled random port selection and set up port forwarding. This appeared to fix the problem, but as I was downloading I noticed that every time my upload reached the 400 kb/s area the whole computer locked itself and i had to push the reset button to start it over again. The download is unproblematic and im able to download 5gb/s without any difficulty.I've gone through many posts and cant find anyone that is spesific for this problem. Please help.
littleriffy1 Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 DAMN you have awesome speeds. My ISP maxes out at 1.5Mb/s dl and 100kb/s ul. The only thing i can suggest is to limit your upload speed to like 350 kb/s. aside from that i'm not sure how to solve it.

cbj002 Posted October 27, 2011 Author Report Posted October 27, 2011 have tried it with firewall turned offAnd uninstalled? No, but is that a good idea to unistall the whole thing?
DreadWingKnight Posted October 27, 2011 Report Posted October 27, 2011 Depending on what internet security software you have installed, it actually is, especially if it's one like ZoneAlarm or McAfee.
