Batchman Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 I am using 1.7.7 and this feature is absolute must for me since i don't have constant connection speed and upload needs to be limited so my connection is not flooded so I am asking when was this removed since i know last version does not have it, and would like to move few versions up, mainly because udp trackersps: in comparsion 1.7.7 is superior to 2+ in download/upload speed even without utp and other crap
DreadWingKnight Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Then set the limit manually according to where your connection is most stable and let uTP manage the rest.1.7.x isn't supported.
Batchman Posted October 30, 2011 Author Report Posted October 30, 2011 problem is my upload speed can vary from 500KB/s to 80KB/s and i need to be uploading much as possible while being able to use internet. => upload limit needs to reflect my current max upload speed ...guess i try all older versions to see when exactly was this feature removed, if no1 knows tnx
DreadWingKnight Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Set to the low end of the spectrum then. uTP manages upload rates just fine when you actually let it.And I have no problem maxing out my shiny new 15mbit/15mbit fibre with 3.0.
