hashfail Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 [This pertains to the Windows version but it's probably relevant for other versions as well]Scenario 1: You have n torrents highlighted in the torrent field, then you accidentally press RETURN.Scenario 2: You right-click any of the categories/labels to the left of the torrent field, containing n torrents, then you accidentally select "Open Containing Folder".In both cases, uTorrent opens n Explorer windows without querying whether you really want to open n different windows simultaneously. When n is less than 10 this might not be a big issue, but when n is in the hundreds, an accidental click can lead to system crash and BSOD (as has happened in my case several times already). A simple prompt/warning would fix this issue.
schnurlos Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Have a look on the new 3.1:-- 2011-09-15: Version 3.1 alpha (build 25664)- Change: Opening multiple torrent folders with return/enter key - asks user "are you sure?"
hashfail Posted November 5, 2011 Author Report Posted November 5, 2011 Great, looking forward to the official release
