Downloads not starting 1.5.11 (mac lion)

Hi guys,

Im getting kinda desperate about downloading my series on my new MBP. It seems that my downloads won't start anymore and it seems to be very random. For example last week I downloaded an episode just fine from an trusted uploader. This week I'm trying to download the next episode from the same uploader and its just stuck at 0% (over 10k seeders). Status says downloading tho, same with all my other torrents. Some series I can't even download at all. Funny thing is, on my windows machine the downloads run fine! So its not my connection/router/torrent. I already checked the troubleshooting pages and de FAQ but can't find a solution.

Any mac (Lion) users have the same problem, or even a solution? I'm kinda new to macOS so it might be some firewall thing, turned it off tho!

I had a similar issue until a couple of minutes ago.

I read somewhere that there was something with the new uTorrent update that created a problem with where .torrent files are stored and the permissions on that new folder.

I just changed my preferences to save .torrent files to another folder I knew I definitely didn't have any permission issues with and everything has worked fine since.

uTorrent menu > Preferences > Directories tab > Check the box next to "Store .torrents in:" and choose a new location from the drop-down list.
