uTorrent dosent start downloading

it dosent load tracers , download speed stays at 0 , movie Grease downloaded to 79% and then stopped

mine is doing the same the name of the torrent comes up and there are seeders but i get nothing what do i do??

Last week downloaded new version 1.5.11 (25801) (for Mac).

Only one torrent has downloaded but stopped at 79%. (There was one peer with 100% but it stopped uploading so that may not lie on u torrent).

All the others just don't start and it doesn't see the peers.

I've been using utorrent now for years but don't really understand some of the technical stuff. In the past it worked perfectly.

Should I use Randomise Ports knob?

Am a bit frightened to muck it up and Assume that the standard version works best. But it doesn't!!!

What have you done to the new version?

I also don't understand why I now get an extra drop-down window at the beginning asking me if I want to start a new torrent. That was never there in the past.

Please fix this bug asap cos I want to watch a film!!!

I feel a bit silly answering my own question but maybe it helps some one else!

If it doesn't do what it's meant to - throw it away and start again!

It wasn't easy - It wouldn't quit and I had to use Force Quit from the Mac to do this. Then chucked everything in the bin, restarted the computer, downloaded again and strangely enough it carried on from where it was before I downloaded this version (although the things themselves had been deleted by me but that doesn't matter).

That would suggest that the new download did not delete the old one and that made a conflict.

Anyway it's working again. Hope somebody else is helped with this.
