Unknown torrent files in trash

Hi folks,

I tried to google this with a hundred different word combinations but nothing useful came out, so I'm asking it here. I'm using utorrent 2.2.1 under Win7 Professional with McAfee virus scan always on (that, by the way, it sucks but it was pre-licensed on my Dell). Today I opened the trashcan and found hundreds of unknown .torrent files (some starting with 'aaxoo ... ') in my trashcan folder, some of them with very funny and weird (XXX) names

Everything else on the PC looks fine, I'm quite experienced and don't open stuff I find on Internet, i'm behind an external firewall and all the Antivirus and other securities are in place. utorrent as well seems to work properly.

So, considering the above, my doubt is: is utorrent creating those files, or there's a trojan/virus/whatever on my machine? :/
